Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the most popular titles for the Nintendo Switch. Despite this, fans have been clamoring for new content to enrich their island getaways. On October 15, 2021, Nintendo finally delivered for fans, announcing a fall update for the game scheduled for November 5, 2021, along with the first paid expansion for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise.
Happy Home Paradies allows players to design island getaways for other villagers and brings with it a host of new activities for islanders to enjoy. Not only is the expansion debuting alongside the free November 5 update, but those who subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack can download this DLC at no additional cost.

Nintendo unveiled the cost of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack alongside the Animal Crossing October Direct. The service costs $49.99 per year for an Individual Membership, and a Family Membership that covers the entire console costs $79.99 annually.
