Once you’ve mastered the basics, the next step is to explore deeper systems like Evolving and Trading. Evolution strengthens your existing units, making them far more powerful, while trading lets you obtain strong units from other players without heavy grinding or spending. As you progress, focusing on these features will help you transition smoothly to an intermediate level.
A good rule of thumb is to check what materials you need to Evo your unit and check where you can get it from. If these drop from a stage which you can easily clear, then it’s definitely time to Evo. However, if you’re struggling and barely managing to get that victory, then you should keep leveling your units still. Whenever you start to evolve your units is also a great time to start Trading, since you’ll most likely have useful items for trade at this point.
Obtaining powerful units is a core progression part of Anime Vanguards. However, most of them are locked behind specific quests beyond the standard summon that players must complete to obtain them permanently. This applies not only to units but also to evolution items and other limited-time currencies.
