The Interactive Phase Driver Device is the second interactive high-tier loot location on Olympus in Apex Legends, the first being the Boxing Ring in Fight Night. Getting loot from the Interactive Phase Driver Device, however, is a little bit different than with the prior location. In a way, the Interactive Phase Driver Device is like a built-in gambling game for players: Free-to-play, but full of risk and reward.
Getting High-Tier Loot
To get high-tier loot from the Interactive Phase Driver Device, you will need to activate it. Activating the Interactive Phase Driver Device will reward players by phasing in three Loot Rollers at a time. 1-3 of them will always be Legendary-tier. If applicable, the remaining 1-2 will be Epic-tier. The number of Legendary-tier Loot Rollers that appear is completely random, but at least one of them is always guaranteed.

On the negative side, each activation will also cause the Interactive Phase Driver Device to make a loud noise that can be heard throughout the Phase Driver Point of Interest (POI), as well as in nearby surrounding areas. This means that activating the device can be dangerous, as it can alert enemy squads of your position.
Lastly, it’s important to note that the Interactive Phase Driver Device can be activated multiple times. That said, there is a cooldown on the device. Players will need to wait 45 seconds in between activations if they want to activate it more than once. The cooldown is tied to the device itself, not per team. This also means that the cooldown still remains in place for the full duration even if the squad who activated it is eliminated.
