Characters are one of the hardest things to grind in Archero 2, and because you can buy some with real-life money, they are also incredibly P2W. So, it's important to know which ones you should go for. To help you with making your next hero choice easier, here is our definitive Archero 2 character tier list!
Archero 2 Character Tier List

You can find the tier list of all characters in Archero 2 in the image above. Generally, Dracoola and Otta are considered the best characters in the game, as the DPS bonuses they provide with their passives are huge. Seraph is also solid, though the extra skills aren't as reliable of a source of DPS.
On the other hand, Alex, Nyanja, and Helix all provide niche bonuses that aren't felt as much during gameplay. The best out of all three is Helix, as his DPS buffs are quite good for PvP. Anyway, here is the breakdown of each character's strengths and weaknesses.
Character | Boosts | Pros & Cons |
---|---|---|
![]() Alex | Lv. 1: Increases Red Heart Drops Lv. 2: Increases ATK SPD by 10% for 10s after a CRIT Lv. 3: Increases in-game EXP gain by 10% Lv. 4: Guarantees a CRIT on the next attack after taking DMG | + The best character in Archero 2 for PvP when maxed out + The CRIT Lv. 4 passive is simply broken – Virtually useless until you max him out – Extremely bad for PvE |
![]() Nyanja | Lv. 1: Increases MOV SPD by 10% and periodically releases Swift Wind to push away and damage enemies Lv. 2: Increases Swift Wind range and doubles Swift Wind DMG Lv. 3: Triggers an explosion upon contact with monsters during Swift Wind Lv. 4: Significantly reduces Swift Wind cycle | + Pretty solid beginner character for PvE – Falls off compared to all other characters – By far the worst character in the game when you have everything maxed out |
![]() Helix | Lv. 1: The lower the HP, the higher the ATK, up to 20% increase Lv. 2: Increases ATK SPD by 20% for 5s after taking DMG Lv. 3: Increases ATK by 20% for 10s after taking DMG Lv. 4: Increases ATK SPD by 20% when HP is below 50% | + Excellent for PvP at virtually all stages – Very bad for PvE – Alex is better for PvP when they are both maxed out |
![]() Seraph | Lv. 1: 50% chance to encounter the Valkyrie at the start Lv. 2: Chance to get another skill when Healing is selected during the encounter with the Angel Lv. 3: Chance that Max HP is not reduced when making a pact with a devil Lv. 4: Easier to get higher grade abilities when acquiring new abilities | + One of the best PvE characters + The extra skills will help you make OP skill combos quicker – Useless for PvP |
![]() Dracoola | Lv. 1: Chance to absorb enemy HP during attacks Lv. 2: Excess healing will be converted into damage on the next attack Lv. 3: When HP is over 50%, MOV SPD +20% Lv. 4: At full HP, ATK +40% | + Excellent both in PvP and PvE + The lifesteal passive is extremely clutch if you're bad at dodging – Not the best in slot for anything |
![]() Otta | Lv. 1: The higher the enemy's HP, the easier it is to land a CRIT Lv. 2: After taking DMG, CRIT rate increases by 40% for 5s Lv. 3: CRIT hits can instakill minions below 30% Lv. 4: The farther the range, the higher the CRIT rate, up to 15% | + The overall best character in the game + Excellent DPS buffing-passives for both PvE and PvP – Alex is still better for PvP when both are maxed out |
