How to tame an Argentavis in Ark Survival Ascended

After spotting an Argentavis, the next step is to tame it. Since Argentavis is an aggressive type of creature, you can tame it by using stone dino gateways and door frames. Build a structure using the prescribed item to create a makeshift trap.

Bait the Argentavis and make it follow you. Upon reaching the trap, it will get caught. Once it is inside the structure, start shooting it with tranquilizer darts with the help of the crossbow. After shooting three to four arrows, it will get sedated. Now, feed the Argentavis any kibble to tame it.

How to use an Argentavis in Ark Survival Ascended?

You can use an Argentavis for a wide variety of jobs. I have listed some of the common ones below.

• Carrying Resource: If your desired resource is far away from the base, you can use Argentavis to transport that mined resource to our home camp.
• Transporting Dinosaurs: Apart from carrying resources, you can also use Argentavis to migrate resource-mining dinosaurs like Ankylosaurus from your base to the mining camp.
• Crafting Items: You can use the saddle of the Argentavis to craft any Smithy items. Place the materials required for that item in the saddle, and you will obtain the targetted item immediately.
