How to Find and Defeat Broodmother in ARK Fjordur

One of the toughest bosses in all of Ark Fjordur is the Broodmother. A hulking, spiky, menacing spider boss, Broodmother is as tough as she looks and can give players plenty of headaches if they go swinging without a plan. With ARK 2 on the horizon, taking down tough bosses like Broodmother will be imperative to succeeding in the future.

How to find Broodmother in ARK Fjordur

To group up and fight Broodmother, you'll first need to know where to find her. First, you need to make sure you have the correct items for the Broodmother Sacrifice so that you can summon Broodmother. The items required are as follows:

• One Beyla Relic
• One Artifact of the Clever
• One Artifact of the Hunter
• One Artifact of the Massive
• 10 Argentavis Talon
• 10 Sarcosuchus Skin
• 10Sauropod Vertebra
• 10 Titanoboa Venom

Next, you have to find the Broodmother Terminal Cave located at 57.3 latitude, 65.7 longitude. Lastly, you need to find the Broodmother Terminal inside the cave at 54.5 latitude, 65.3 longitude and use the sacrifice items to summon the boss.

How to defeat Broodmother in ARK Fjordur

Finding and summoning Broodmother can be a breeze compared to taking her down. Though a miniboss, she is strong, tough, and not alone. Her armor is tough to pierce, and she summons smaller spiders that will hound players with Torpor attacks and webs that slow players down. However, with the right strategy, Broodmother can eventually be brought down. Try some of the tricks below to make the fight easier for you and your group:

• Using Yuty's roar to buff your other tames will cause them to deal greater damage and sustain less damage.
• Use Daeodons to heal the rest of your tames so they can continue tanking the boss.
• Having any Gigas will make this fight a breeze, as a few of them can easily tank through Broodmother's damage and break through her armor.
