Armored Core 6 features extensive customization, with a plethora of options to make your mech do what you need. I found choosing the right booster is essential, as it affects how mobile my robot is during combat. This left me wondering how to select boosters and which ones to look at when shopping for my builds, so let's take a deeper look at what the best boosters are in Armored Core 6.
Top 10 Best Boosters in Armored Core 6
10 - BC-0400 MULE
The MULE is considered the least beneficial booster in the game. On the upside, its EM load and weight are also kept down, giving you freedom of movement, which you will appreciate at least early on in the game, until more advanced, better-armored builds become available. I still advise you to switch to BST-G1/P10 when you get it.
9 - BST-G1/P10
The BST-G1/P10 is a bit less demanding than the MULE and will provide you with a bit more boost. It still packs quite the heft, and you will look for a replacement quickly.
8 - BUERZEL 21D
The BUERZEL provides a decent amount of thrust to pilots, and while somewhat lacking in QB trust and upward trust, it is still a decent choice until you unlock a better alternative. Its downside is that it weighs like a behemoth and eats power like nobody's business.
7 - AB-J-137 KIKAKU
The KIKAKU is the jumping point in the early tiers of boosters. It provides excellent QB thrust with a very reasonable EM load. The weight is its main problem; you will feel it if you're going for a lighter mech build.
6 - BC-0600 12345
BC-0600 is an excellent beginner's booster that will work decently, especially for the lighter-class builds. It provides excellent QB trust for its price and uses next to no energy while doing so. You won't feel too much weight with it, so if you're looking for that speedy build early on, this is the choice.
5 - BST-G2 P04
The BST-G2 P04 booster is the master of QB trust, and I found it useful even at later stages of the game. It remains a very reasonable EM spender, not contributing too much to the EM shortfall, and isn't too hefty either. It's an excellent choice that will last you a very long while, unless you're strictly min-maxing your build.
4 - FLUEGEL 21Z
The FLUEGEL features balanced stats overall, with a significant cut in EM requirement and weight. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be! This booster will fit most builds; I prefer to use it with my heavier, bi-pedal mechs.
3 - BST-G2 P06SPD
The BST-G2 P06SPD excels in thrust, providing a more significant upward thrust than the ALULA, albeit at the cost of the QB trust stat. This is quite a heavy booster option, so try to build as light as possible.

2 - ALULA 21E
ALULA 21E sports a beautiful look featuring a triple-nozzle-styled look combined with a stunning blue flame output. The main reason ALULA is in the top three of this list, however, is it provides the most significant thrust output out of all boosters in the game, with upward thrust being the only area it truly needs to improve on. This is the go-to booster if you're making ultra-lightweight, super-maneuverable builds in AC6.
1 - IA-C01B: GILLS
IA-C01B GILLS provides the best output ratio while not being too hefty or requiring too big of an EM output. While you can't purchase it from the store regularly, you can find it on the mission Mission 29, Underground Exploration Depth 2, where you can also obtain two more combat logs.
