Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: How to Change Your Hairstyle

You've got to get that Viking hairstyle down!

The most important thing about being an assassin is not about the skills or tricks you can accomplish or how deadly and stealthy you are. What does matter is how stylish you look when doing the deed, as if you want fame and glory, people remembering you is the first way to go about that. In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, there are multiple ways to change Eivor's appearance!

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: How to Change Your Hairstyle

To change your hairstyle in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, you must head to Fornburg and find the Tattoo shop, and here you can change Eivor's hairstyle to something you want. However, to get to Fornburg, you must first complete the mission Honor Bound.

Once the story mission Honor Bound has been concluded, you can now set sail on the seas, and the first port of call that has to be made is to access the variety of shops over at Fornburg. Of course, the most important one is the Tattoo shop, run by NPCs named Tove and Svend.

Fornburg does have an array of shops, so it's quite easy to get lost, but don't go expecting a sign labeled TATTOO to lead you to your destination. Instead, keep an eye out for a sign that looks like the number 8, it’s directly east of the longhouse (giant green building marker on your map). Look inside or outside this shop for Svend, and ask to see his tattoos to be able to access his shop.

On this new screen, you can change Eivor's hairstyle or beard; however, beards are male-only - female Eivors do not get this option. Meaning playing as a female; you can only change your hairstyle.

There are several different styles you can choose from, so pick something that catches your fancy. This range can be increased by bringing them Cosmetic Schemes. We'll update this more when we know more!

Though before you begin your Viking adventure, it's probably a good idea to know how to heal,  as it's very different in this game compared to the rest! Oddly enough, you don't receive any bonus hairstyles in any of the special editions of Assassin's Creed Valhalla when it releases in November.
