Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Where to find Carbon Ingots

The first tier, you need to upgrade your weapons!

The time of the Vikings is upon us; get ready to sail for New England and pillage the land and take it for your clan! Resources have been a massive part of the series for the last few games now, and it hasn't changed for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, as now they are more essential than ever as you need them all to build and upgrade your Viking settlement!

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Where to find Carbon Ingots

To find carbon ingots in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, you must travel to the wealth landmarks on your map; however, until you investigate the landmark, you never know what you'll receive. Another way to get quick carbon ingots is by raiding!

Carbon ingots are used to upgrade your main weapons, so it's vitally important to get carbon as quickly as possible in the early parts of the game. As without it, you can't upgrade your weapons to the higher tiers beyond it, as carbon is really just a basic tier in a long path of upgrading in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Wealth Landmarks are your best bet to finding some; however, it's completely based on luck, as instead of carbon ingots, you might get a new piece of gear, a book of knowledge, or other resources. You never know till you investigate it! Raiding is another way, but you have to find a raiding location with the wealth aspect; if it doesn't, then no carbon ingots will be awarded.

As you start in Norway, you'll find many places to get carbon ingots from by just exploring, so change your mount and travel the land searching! Then as you leave for New England, you'll find a lot more, as they become more common. Though on your travels, you might as well fill up your ration pouch for healing!

However, make sure you find all the wealthy landmarks in a region before moving on, as the quicker you can upgrade your weapons, the better, as if you're playing on a higher difficulty, it's practically essential!

Raiding is also a surefire way to get resources. After you kill the entirety of the settlement, you are raiding and pillaging all the treasures in sight. You'll be awarded additional resources for completing it!

About the Author

Hey, my name is Mark, and I'm a video game enthusiast! My earliest memory was playing Worms on the Amiga against my Godmother, yes the Amiga, massive box type thing, needed eighty-five thousand floppy disks to play one game, maybe a slight exaggeration. Ah, those were the days! I love RPG’s, and The Legend of Zelda series. Dogs are pretty awesome.
