Can you turn off Weapon bloom in Battlefield 2042?

If you wonder how to turn off bloom or weapon bloom in Battlefield 2042, there is no way to do it. Battlefield 2042 doesn't have an option to turn bloom off for the various weapons you can use in the game. Nor does Battlefield 2042 have an option to turn bloom off in general. 

Because of this, players are left with no way to deal with the weapon bloom. But exactly is weapon bloom, and why do some players want to remove it?

Well, to start, weapon bloom is a system that determines the bullet spread of the various weapons in the game. Generally, this would be fine as, in theory, it can help make weapons feel realistic.

But the result is weapons feel unpredictable, and the bullet spread seems to have a mind of its own. The bullet spread also tends to cause bullets to land in random places. 

Because of this, it can make weapons feel unwieldy, so it's no wonder why players are looking for a way to turn the chaotic weapon bloom off. Sadly there's no way to do it, and it looks to be something the developers at DICE can only solve.
