Platinum Games and Nintendo as a publisher have announced a new Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon during The Game Awards 2022 show. In this new spinoff game, we will see a young version of Bayonetta with her very first demon, Cheshire, who took possession of her plush toy.

Then known as Cereza, she took on a journey to a forbidden forest in search of the power to save her mother. Joining her in this Alice in Wonderland-like story is her first demon Cheshire, possessing her toy cat.
