How to be born as a male in Japan – BitLife Guide

Be born in the land of Manga and Anime!

Apart from the fancy and lucrative career options, one of the best things about BitLife is the ability to customize your character perks and stats. You can customize almost everything during the character design, from your name to the country of birth. On that note, the latest BitLife challenge, Death Note Challenge, demands players to customize a male character born in Japan. So, if you are new to the game and do not know anything regarding customization, read the instructions below.

Open BitLife and click on the three-striped icon present in the top left corner of the screen. Select New Life from the long list of options in the new window.

Now, change the name of your character, birth country, and city by clicking on the individual buttons. You can give any name of your liking to your avatar. We recommend giving a title with a Japanese origin to make the scenario more authentic. Also, make sure you select Male as your gender. For the county of origin, scroll the list and choose Japan as your homeland. The next option allows you to customize your birth city. In the current version, you can opt for eight different real-life places from Japan as your starting point.

  • Fukuoka
  • Hiroshima
  • Kobe
  • Kyoto
  • Nagoya
  • Osaka
  • Tokyo
  • Yokohama

After customizing everything, click on start Life to begin your journey. Additionally, if you own the God Mode expansion, we recommend changing both your Smarts and Looks attributes to 100% to finish the second objective of the challenge as well.
