Staging a Publicity Stunt is a great way to draw attention to your show and increase your Fame as a TV or movie star, but it's a risky affair. You never know what the public's reception will be, after all—and you can end up losing fans if you go too far.
But if you're up for the challenge, start by landing an Acting gig from the Special Careers section. Keep in mind that you need to purchase the Acting Job Pack for $2 to unlock it. You can choose to star as an Extra or play a role in a TV show or movie.
Once you've landed a role, click on the Occupation menu and select your job at the top of the screen. Under Activities, select Publicity Stunt. The game will double confirm whether or not you want to conduct one.
The Publicity Stunt and corresponding reception are completely random, so be careful and think twice before taking the risk! If you receive too much Negative Attention, you could get fired for your role, or your show could come under fire. However, Positive Attention could bring a lot of viewers into your show and increase your Fame.
