Is there co-op/multiplayer in Blackwind?

Blackwind is a top-down action game being developed by Drakkar Dev. This sci-fi adventure places the player in the role of a teen stuck inside a powerful mech, called a Battle Frame. The player must use this mech and their skill to defeat hordes of aliens. But, they don't have to do it alone.

Blackwind has an asymmetrical co-op in the form of one player controlling the mech while another controls the Battle Frame Drone. This drone can be called upon in single-player or controlled by another player in multiplayer. While not as powerful as the mech, it can explore and help in fights.

This is available in local multiplayer but may be available online later on. Players will have to decide who controls the mech and the drone but can alternate when one wants to switch. Having the drone to aid you in battle will certainly make stopping the alien invasion easier.

Blackwind releases on Jan. 20, which means they don't have long to wait before they can climb into the Battle Frame. But when the time comes, be ready to kick some alien butt, and don't forget your drone!
