Paragon Towers are the strongest defensive options players have in BTD6. Their attacks have immense popping power as well as some additional effects, and they take far less space than a normal mob of monkeys would. Though all of these towers are extremely potent, some simply outperform most of the other towers in terms of cost-effectiveness and overall versatility. Here are the three best Paragon Towers in our book.

3. Apex Plasma Master

One of the first Paragon Towers to ever be added in BTD6, the Plasma Master, remains a good choice in many maps, especially ones with plenty of walls. It fires large projectiles that can ricochet off surfaces and hit Bloons multiple times per shot. While its raw stopping power isn’t as high as Boomerang Monkey's Glaive Dominus Paragon, it is versatile enough to be useful in mid to long range. Pair this with fully-upgraded utility and support towers to create a solid defensive line.

2. Master Builder

The Master Builder can saturate a map with Sentry Turrets, including three Sentry Paragons that have specialized functions: one for popping MOABs, another that shoots sunrays, and one more that emits a high-power laser that has to be aimed manually. As an added bonus, the monkey itself gets stronger after every round.

This Paragon Tower is definitely more interesting than the others mechanics-wise, and its versatility gives it much to offer in mixed waves.

1. Ascended Shadow 

The final form of the Ninja Monkey is an all-rounder that can hold back hordes of big Bloons by itself. This Paragon Tower shoots a constant stream of seeking shurikens with a sprinkle of explosives here and there, while also slowing common Bloons by 50%.

The Ascended Shadow is arguably the best when it comes to dealing with MOABs and bosses. It throws Flash and Sticky Bombs that can stun and deal high damage to priority targets while also destroying anything else caught in their blast radius, making this Paragon Tower one of the best, if not the best, in BTD6.
