Well, the answer obviously isn't two so we can move on from that. You'll notice that the balls can be moved, then you might consider that if you combine blue with yellow that you'll get green. So, drag a blue ball over the yellow and it will combine to create a green ball. Do this again and you will have another green ball, which leaves you with 4 in total! So, the answer to the puzzle is 4.
