Bugsnax is one of the more unique games that were announced at the PS5 reveal event! It looks like you'll be able to traverse the island of Bugsnax and combine yourself with a variety of different creatures to make up a character that has the strength of these food based bugs! The game takes a turn for the sinister at night though, if you watch the trailer to the end, you'll see how the bugs combine together into one particularly creepy monster!
Bugsnax Launch Date
Bugsnax has a release date set for November 12th, 2020 and will be released on the new PlayStation 5, the PS4, and will be available for PC via the Epic Games Store. If you are on the PC, you can pre-order the game right now and get 15% off of your purchase from the Epic Games Store!
The details on Bugsnax were a bit confusing, because what you actually do in the game wasn't fully revealed in the trailer. It looks like you will be cataloguing and capturing Bugsnax! This is kind of a Pokemon-esque style of play, but the Bugsnax you catch are generally not going ot be battling, they are going to be consumed! To catch yourself a Bugsnak, you will need to use your camera to figure out the walking path of your pursuit, and once you have that, you will need to set a trap to capture it! While this sounds simple enough, as you get deeper into the game, it's going to get a lot more difficult to catch these little critters.
