Best Basilisk loadout and attachments in Warzone 2

The Snakeshot revolver was in a broken state when Call of Duty: Warzone 2 launched. After the weapon balancing patch of the Season 4 Reloaded update, the Basilisk has once again become an overpowered weapon. Below is a loadout that I suggest you use before the pistol gets nerfed.

Using the attachments and tuning listed below makes the Basilisk handgun a close-range meta weapon in the game, alongside the X13 Auto, which is also a handgun.

• Barrel: 10.5" FTAC Arrow
• Laser: Revo-LSD 7mW
• Trigger Action: Bryson Match Grade
• Ammunition: .500 Snakeshot
• Rear Grip: Akimbo Basilisk
• Attachment Tuning
  • Barrel: Vertical slider at +0.19 lb; Horizontal slider at 0.00 in
  • Laser: Vertical slider at -0.15 oz; Horizontal slider at 0.00 ft
  • Trigger Action: Vertical slider at +0.09 oz; Horizontal slider at -0.10 in
  • Ammunition: Vertical slider at +0.38 g; Horizontal slider at +9.00 gr

The Akimbo rear grip allows you to dual-wield the handgun, giving you a total of 10 bullets and a hip-fire-only capability. The weapon's performance is consistent as you can two-tap kill enemies within close-mid range almost always.

The only downside with the Basilisk is the low ammo-carrying capacity, but I've found it sufficient for solos, duos, and even trios. While the barrel improves the gun's range, the laser tightens its hip fire spread. The Match Grade trigger allows you to shoot quicker as it boosts the pistol's fire rate. Finally, the Snakeshot ammo is the most important as it increases the bullet's damage radius, allowing the Basilisk to perform as a mini-shotgun.
