Urzikstan has replaced Al Mazrah as the large-scale Battle Royale map in Call of Duty: Warzone. It may take time for you to become familiar with the map and learn its layout, but I have some of the best landing spots to share with you.
Best places to land in Urzikstan in Warzone (Map)
We have finally moved on from the desert aesthetic map to a city that features a more lush environment. Moreover, there's no giant hill or mountain in the center of the map to obstruct rotations. Here are some top points of interest (POIs) to land at in Urzikstan Warzone:
- Old Town
- Zaravan Suburbs
- North of Levin Resort (Kotovo Blocks)
- Seaport District
Old Town
If you're looking for a hot-drop location in a Battle Royale, the central region of the map is always your best bet. Old Town is situated in the heart of Urzikstan and has several small and large buildings where you can find good loot and enemy players to pick a fight with. Get your loadout here and move to the Low Town region if you prefer close-quarters combat in a dense, structure-rich area.
Zaravan Suburbs
The next best landing spot for me is Zaravan Suburbs, which is situated to the south of Old Town. This region covers a large chunk of the map and is packed with buildings that have different layouts. If you're looking for a vantage point for sniping, move further west to the skyscrapers in Zaravan City.
North of Levin Resort (Kotovo Blocks)
Not everyone likes to hot-drop in Warzone, therefore, what you get by landing at Kostovo Blocks is a quiet place with lots of buildings to acquire loot from before getting into a fight. This area is situated northwestern corner of the Urzikstan map and isn't far from Levin Resort. It's also one of the best places to regain if you've won the Gulag but your teammates haven't.
Seaport District
Seaport District and the nearby Al-Abboud Condos are also great places to start your match at. You may not see much action here at the beginning, but the loot is good. You can then eventually move over to the Uzrikstan Cargo or the new port if the safe zone allows.
Besides simply landing at specific POIs, I suggest considering various other factors if you're playing for the win. Open your tac map while in the airplane and make sure the spot you're about to land at has a buy station, redeploy drones, and contracts. For aggressive playstyles, Bounty contracts are the way to go but slow-paced players can look for Upload Intel and Scavenger contracts to collect more resources and most importantly, money.
