In Call of Duty MW3, the Riveter is a fully automatic shotgun with an AR receiver that can take down opponents in a few seconds. This weapon is great at close range, but there are a few attachments you can use to make it even better.
Best Riveter loadout attachments in MW3
The Riveter is an automatic shotgun that falls behind in categories like damage, accuracy, and recoil control. You can get this weapon from Armory Unlock by reaching level 25. Alternatively, buying the Vault Edition gives players two blueprints for the Riveter. These blueprints can be equipped as soon as your loadout section is available in-game.
The attachments I use with the Riveter aim to improve its accuracy, damage, and recoil.
- Barrel: SA Draven-20 Long Barrel
- Muzzle: SA Schweigen XS
- Magazine: 30 round mag
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Ammunition: .410 Gauge Slug Shells
Shotguns are built for close quarters, so it's pointless to add more range to the Riveter. Instead, I recommend improving its damage and accuracy, as these two factors play a massive part in close-range combat. Since this is an automatic shotgun, you can easily knock down a few players with the 30-round magazine. Likewise, the Gauge Slug Shells dish out extra damage giving your operator the edge in every encounter.
Best Riveter class setup in MW3
The best class setup for any weapon depends on your playstyle and choices. I prefer using Smoke Grenades to hide my operator while using Shotguns and lethals like Proximity Mine or Claymore work perfectly while holding a room. Here is the best class setup for the Riveter Shotgun in MW3:
- Secondary Weapon: FTAC Siege or SVA 545
- Vest: Infantry Vest
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
- Lethal: Proximity Mine or Claymore
- Field Upgrade: Ammunition Box
- Gloves: Scavenger Gloves
- Boots: Lightweight Boots
- Gear: EOD Padding
