Heavy Armor DMZ Mission Guide – Large Plate Carriers and Armor Boxes

Heavy Armor is the first Tier 4 mission for the Legion Faction in Cal of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ. This mission tasks you to collect and extract huge quantities of armor plates, large plate carriers, and Armor Boxes from the DMZ.

How to complete the Heavy Armor mission in DMZ

• Extract 30 armor plates in one deployment.
• Extract 7 large plate carriers.
• Extract 5 Armor Boxes.

How to extract 30 armor plates in one deployment

The first task in the mission needs to be done separately if you're playing solo. Before anything, you must acquire a Large Backpack by either finding it as loot or purchasing one from a shop. Once you have this item, collect around $8000 cash and head straight to a Buy Station. Fill all your backpack slots with armor plates purchased from the store for $250 each. The sum of stowed and equipped armor plates will equal 30, which you can extract to complete the first part of the mission.

How to extract 7 large plate carriers

Infil back into the DMZ, preferably Ashika Island as the map is smaller and filled with loot hotspots. You now need to extract seven large plate carriers or 3-Plate Armor Vests, but it doesn't need to be in a single deployment. These are legendary items that you can find inside orange supply boxes, which spawn inside Strongholds and other secure areas. There are various locked spaces on Ashika Island, such as Main Harbor Control, Water Pump Control, and Room 403, inside which you can find multiple large plate carriers. Furthermore, this gear can also be purchased from Buy Stations for $30000 each.

How to extract 5 Armor Boxes

For the final task in the Heavy Armor mission, you need to extract five Armor Box field upgrades from the DMZ. These are rare equipment that spawn mainly inside supply boxes. You can also seldom find them inside supply crates. If you find an Armor Box, equip it as your field upgrade while exfilling. Next match, exfil with the same Armor Box equipped and it'll be added to the mission progress. It may take more than a few deployments to complete this task this way.
