How does the ‘Cursed Ground Public Event’ work in CoD Warzone?

Kill zombies for reward.

Call of Duty: Warzone has several Public Events that occur randomly during a match. These are special gameplay features that can affect the pace and outcome of the game you are playing. Fortune's Keep already has a unique Public Event named Cash Extraction, but the developers have added another one to the map prior to the Season 4 Reloaded update.

What is the Fortune's Keep Cursed Ground Public Event in Call of Duty: Warzone?

Fortune's Keep exclusive Cursed Ground Public Event allows you to get your hands on valuable loot items such as cash, killstreaks, equipment, field upgrades, power-ups and perk drops. To reap these rewards, players need to unlock the cursed supply chests, several of which are hidden at various locations around the island.

These special chests can only be opened if you manage to clear the waves of zombies within a given time. Once the Cursed Ground event is activated, zombies start spawning near the crate and attack operators. Your job is to kill these zombies and collect enough Wisps from their dead bodies within the allotted timeframe to secure the cursed chest. However, keep in mind that as your Wisp collection grows, more difficult hordes of zombies start spawning in.
