Mall Rat DMZ Mission Guide

Here's how to kill three operators.

In Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ, the Tier 4 White Lotus Faction features a mission called Mall Rat. This mission tasks you with eliminating bots and real players in one of Al Mazrah's high-security, denied areas. In this guide, you'll find out how to access this building and ways to get those player kills.

How to complete the Mall Rat mission in DMZ

  • Kill 20 enemies in the Sa'id City Shopping Center without being downed.
  • Kill 3 operators (real players) in the Sa'id City Shopping Center.

The Sa'id City Shopping Center is located in Sa'id City, a POI in western Al Mazrah. All the eliminations you need to get for this mission must be acquired when you're inside the mall compound. This includes the Shopping Center building and the parking lot as shown in the second image above.

Start by entering the parking area and taking out the guards in your way while you make it to the top level. These guards will be easy to kill, however, you'll encounter heavily-armored AQ soldiers once you cross from the parking lot to the roof of the Sa'id City Shopping Center building. Maintain your distance and eliminate these bots without getting knocked down. In case you do get downed, use your Self Revive Kit and try attempting the task again, from the beginning.

The remaining of the 20 bot kills you need to get can be obtained by eliminating the guards held up inside the mall. You can peek down the roof and get some easy kills from there to complete the first task of your mission. This way, you don't even have to go inside the Shopping Center, which is heavily guarded and covered with tripwires. Now, the difficult part of the mission is to kill three real players in the Sa'id City Shopping Center.

Although it's mentioned that you need to get the kills in the building, that's not actually the case. You need to be in the Sa'id City Shopping Center complex, but the enemies you kill don't. This makes the challenge relatively easier and simply a game of patience. We recommend you bring a good Sniper Rifle like the SP-X 80, MCPR-300, or Signal 50 alongside a good primary that you can rely upon.

Set up camp on the roof of the building and keep an eye out for any enemy squads passing by. Take your shots, try to get kills, and reposition yourself when needed. While doing so, beware of any bot reinforcements and take them out if necessary. You can also use the ammo cache on the second level of the parking garage to replenish your bullets from time to time. Completing the Mall Rat mission rewards you with the Traveler's Luggage Key that you can use to unlock a locked loot cache.
