Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ refreshed the missions for all Factions and added a brand new Faction called Crown. For Tier 1 Legion Faction, players are required to complete the Muddy Waters mission which requires you to visit the Ashika Island map in DMZ.
How to complete the Muddy Waters mission in DMZ – All Intel Locations
- Find and extract the Shadow Company USB stick from the Ashika Island Beach Club observatory deck.
- Find and extract the Ashika Island Intel from the underground Waterway.
- Find and extract the Crown Intel from the Ashika Power Plant.
You can complete each task in this mission in multiple deployments, however, it can easily be accomplished in a single infiltration.
Where to find the Shadow Company USB in Ashika Island Beach Club observatory
The first item you need to extract from Ashika Island is the Shadow Company USB stick and it can be found in the southern part of the map by Beach Club. At the first location marked on the map, you'll find an isolated structure that is the observatory deck. After approaching this structure, dive underwater and you'll see a series of windows in the lower structure of the deck. Break a window, grab the USB stick from the second Tool Box (highlighted in the picture above), and get out as fast as you can without drowning.
Where to find the Ashika Island Intel in the Waterway
For the second item, you'll need to visit the underground section of Tsuki Castle, which stretches across Ashika Island. It has numerous entrances which include caves, ziplines, and the most obvious being the water channel near Town Center. We descended down the rope found inside the shack near Tsuki Castle. Once inside the Waterway, you'll face some Shadow Company soldiers and a Juggernaut as well. Take these threats out and make your way right underneath the castle where the Bombmaker resides. There you'll find a locked bunker and next to it will be a grey shipping container with the Shadow Company logo. The Ashika Island Intel will be sitting inside this container.
Where to find the Crown Intel in Ashika Power Plant
The final item required for Muddy Waters is located inside the power plant building north of Tsuki Castle. This building is generally a Stronghold, so you'll require a Stronghold Keycard to access it. These access cards are the easiest to find and can be acquired by killing bots and checking their dropped loot. The best way to reach the Crown Intel without much fighting is via the roof of the building, which can be easily accessed by climbing the ledges and other objects. Open the roof door and grab the Crown Intel from behind the control desk on the top floor. Make sure to extract all three intel pieces for mission completion.

Muddy Waters DMZ Mission Reward
Players unlock the Maniples weapon blueprint for the X12 Handgun as a reward for completing the Muddy Waters Legion mission. Furthermore, 10,000 XP is granted and the Tier 2 set of missions is unlocked, which you can complete for even more free DMZ rewards.
