Should I lie in the interrogation in El Sin Nombre? – MW2 Campaign Guide

You can try!

Although the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign is quite linear, the game allows you to choose your words in several instances during the missions. You are given options on what to say while chatting with Captain Price, Ghost, or even the enemy. During the El Sin Nombre mission as Soap, you are interrogated by a sicaria named Valeria. Your objective is to tell her the truth, but what happens if you don't?

What happens if you lie during El Sin Nombre's interrogation?

During the mission, you are instructed by Alejandro to give the cartel members the truth. When you are first taken to Valeria, she asks you to sit on the chair next to her. If you don't comply and keep standing, you'll be shot by her guard. After you are seated, Valeria will ask you a series of questions, and as you already know, you have to answer them correctly.

If you give her the wrong answer, she'll figure out that you are lying. You'll get one more chance to answer the same question, and if you answer incorrectly again, Valeria will shoot you. To successfully complete the mission, you have no choice but to tell her the truth. The questions she asks are quite simple, but if you answer them incorrectly and die, the checkpoint loading screen will drop a hint for you.
