Unrestricted Access Mission Guide DMZ

Find the Restricted Zones and intel here!

If you've been completing missions on the Koschei Complex map of Call of Duty DMZ, you must have come across some locked rooms and hidden areas. The Unrestricted Access mission for Tier 5 Redacted asks players to visit the L2 Restricted Zones inside the bunker and extract intel from there.

Where to find Restricted Zones in the Koschei Complex

As you can see in the Koschei Complex map created by r/jokenswe, the L2 Restricted Zones are located inside the Alpha Cluster and Factory Admin sections. To unlock the Alpha Cluster bunker door C1 and C2, you'll need to place a Car Battery and Jumper Cables in the circuit box. As for the Factory Admin doors A1 and A1, you'll require a Factory Admin Key.

Alpha Cluster Restricted Zone Location

The Alpha Cluster section houses three Restricted Zones. As you enter the server room area (first image), you'll immediately spot a cyan-colored door at the east end. This is the first L2 Restricted Zones that I've highlighted in the image above. The second Restricted Zone will be right next to it in the south direction. Be careful as there will be two sentry turrets and several bots guarding it.

You'll see three different cyan-colored doors, but all of them lead to the same Restricted Zone. Therefore, be mindful of the doors you unlock as the key uses are limited. The third and final Restricted Zone is located at the north end of the server room next to the secret room.

Factory Admin Restricted Zone Location

The Factory Admin section only has one Restricted Zone that you can clear. At the Shopkeeper's location, you'll see a door at the sound end of the hall on the top floor. You can reach it by climbing the boxes and then jumping in through the window (follow the arrows in the image above). Open that door and on the other side, you'll reach the Restricted Zone of this section.

How to enter Restricted Zones in the Koschei Complex

You can access the locked Restricted Zones by using L2 Restricted Zone Keys. So make sure to bring at least two keys if you plan on doing this mission in a single deployment. If you don't have the keys in your stash, you can always look for them inside vintage desks and storage boxes in the Koschei Complex entrance sections such as External Ops and Information Extraction.

Furthermore, I've tried unlocking the Restricted Zones using Skeleton Keys, and it works. Before entering these locked areas, you should also know what possible threats are present inside:

  • Some armored and unarmored AI enemy guards.
  • Two Riot Shield enemies who you can easily take out by sticking with Semtexes.
  • A Sentry Turret that you'll have to dodge or scrap by shooting at it.
  • Some C4 laser traps that you can crawl under or disable from the other side.

When you kill the AI enemies inside the L2 Restricted Zones, some of them will drop Al Qatala Command Notes. This is the intel required for the Unrestricted Access mission. All you need to do is carry one such item in your backpack and exfil from the Koschei Complex. I'd suggest you take the evac elevator at the end of the L2 Restricted Zone for a safer extraction.
