Will Black Ops 6 have Warzone?

Warzone is here to stay!

After the big reveal of Call of Duty Black Ops 6, the Multiplayer and Zombies fanbase is excited about what Treyarch has been working on. But not much has been shared about the popular Battle Royale Warzone. What will become of Warzone? Will it be integrated with BO6? Let's find out.

Is Warzone in Black Ops 6?

As per the Call of Duty blog, Black Ops 6 content will be added to Warzone with the Season 1 update and the game will continue to have MW2 & MW3 items. If you look at the previous years' trend, this integration will happen in early December 2024 and all the new weapons and operators from BO6 will be transferred to Warzone.

Not much has been disclosed yet so I can't share a lot here, but you have your answer, Black Ops 6 will have Warzone. Warzone has always been a standalone game that utilizes content from yearly Call of Duty releases. Although no MW2 & MW3 content will carry forward to BO6, it'll be available for use in Warzone.

What I can't wait to know is whether the new, overhauled movement mechanics will be integrated alongside other content. It'll be a huge change to the Battle Royale, but can make it more fun and exciting to play if implemented properly. The developers are calling this the "omnimovement" that allows your operator to sprint, slide, and dive in any direction and gave a brief overview about it in the BO6 reveal trailer.

Although all the recent Call of Duty titles share the same engine, there's definitely some difference in graphic fidelity and look and feel of the game. For instance, Black Ops Cold War has a way different art style than MW 2019. Only time will tell if Warzone's art style will remain as it is, or will be changed to match that of BO6 (I'd bet on the former).
