Can you summon Charles to your location in Choo-Choo Charles?

Why would you even want to do that?

Choo-Choo Charles is the story of a man-eating spider train that is wreaking havoc on an undisclosed island for some reason. The locals will talk to you about Charles as you complete quests and you'll even find pages throughout the world belonging to dead locals. As you progress through the game, you'll hear some NPCs talk about how Charles is sensitive to sound and that your train is incredibly loud. In fact, it even has a horn that you can pull for even more sound. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to actually call Charles to your location when you pull on it. So, how do you summon Charles to your location in Choo-Choo Charles?

How do you summon Charles to your location in Choo-Choo Charles?

Charles will come after you at random points throughout your journey. Even though you are traveling on a train to get across the island, you're primarily walking as you complete missions. Walking doesn't really produce any sounds, but even then, there will be instances where you will hear the familiar sounds of Charles nearby.

Charles will also not chase you down after you've dealt enough damage to him. He will run in a random direction, making it so that you can't deal the killing blow. Considering this, you also cannot summon Charles until after he has had a chance to regain his health. This takes an undisclosed amount of time, so you're free to do other things like the Swamp Swimmer or Bould Field Pages missions in the meantime.
