Chorus is the newly released space combat game that features a narrative story shrouded in mystery and intense, fast-paced aerial combat. It was developed by Fishlabs and published by the rather famous Deep Silver publisher.
Space combat games can typically be found with some kind of multiplayer element. Games like No Man Sky, Star Wars: Battlefront, or Star Wars: Squadrons all have space combat elements that you could play with friends. On the other hand, games like Elite Dangerous even offer an MMO experience as you travel around the galaxy. But what about Chorus? Does it follow suit with the rest of these games?
Flying Solo
To some players' dismay, Chorus does not offer any kind of multiplayer experience within its game. Chorus is wholly rooted in its single-player main story that follows a solo pilot seeking to destroy the Cult from which she came.
This may come as a bummer for some players who enjoy flying around the galaxy with their friends and doing missions or activities together. For games like that, you will have to look elsewhere. But if you're a fan of single-player experiences and love the feel of dynamic space combat, this is definitely the game for you.

A Possibility
For now, the game doesn't feature any multiplayer element, but since the game just came out, it's hard to say whether or not the developers might add it in the future. The game is only $40 USD (£30, €35). At that price, the game is obviously smaller than the average $60 AAA title, so instead of getting a story, multiplayer mode, and even something extra, you are getting a more focused approach with a solid story, exciting gameplay, and beautiful environments.
There could also be the possibility of future DLC featuring multiplayer that would extend the game's life, so to speak. But no information has been released to support that claim. Only time will tell.
