How to Change Servers in Cookie Run Kingdom

Sometimes a cookie needs to run from its current kingdom.

Because Cookie Run Kingdom can be played with friends, many players are excited to jump in and have fun together. However, it is important to know that friends can only play together if they are on the same server. Because of this, players should coordinate on which server they are going to join before making their choice. However, if you have already invested time or realized you chose the wrong server, you're probably wondering if it is possible to change the server your account is locked to.

Can you change servers?

For those who have been playing Cookie Run Kingdom for a long time, the unfortunate answer is that you cannot choose to change servers without entirely deleting your account. It is unclear whether this will be a feature added in the future, but considering the addition of two new servers, it would make sense for Devsisters to implement it. However, for now the only way is to delete all of your progress, including your impressive clear of Cookie Run Kingdom's 12-30 level.

Deleting your account and re-registering

So, for those who wish to delete their account to change their server, how is it done? It's actually as simple as stated. All you have to do is delete your existing account and uninstall the game on your device. Once that is done, simply reinstall the game and re-register. You can even use your old information since you just deleted it, so no need for an alternate e-mail or password.

Which server should you choose?

Assuming you executed the previous step and don't have a server in mind, you might be wondering which server to migrate to. Currently, there are three total servers in the game: Pure Vanilla, Hollyberry, and Dark Cacao. Pure Vanilla was the first server and thus has the most players and the most experienced players as well, making it a tough battleground to start a brand-new account on. The same goes for the Hollyberry server to a lesser extent, as it released second in the list. Thus, the best choice for a fresh account is the Dark Cacao server, as it is the newest and most new player friendly.
