How to get Coffers in Coral Island

It's like a treasure chest you smash with a hammer

Coral Island is full of mysteries and sunken treasures. Unfortunately, these treasures are usually buried underneath mountains of trash. If you unbury them from their garbage grave, the riches hidden inside could go a long way towards repairing the island. Here's where you can find coffers in Coral Island and how you can break them open.

Where to find Coffers in Coral Island

Coffers look like little treasure chests and are used to store ancient relics or other collectibles. Like almost everything else on the island, they've been impacted by years of pollution and an oil spill. To get a coffer, you'll need to head down towards the Beach and begin clearing the trash along the shore with your scythe. Don't be afraid to move into the water—your character can also walk in the shallow parts of the ocean to reap the trash that lies there.

Coffers can also be found when cleaning up the trash you find while diving. Some of these coffers might be a little fancier than your standard fare treasure chest. These ornate coffers contain more precious artifacts for the Museum.

How to break open Coffers in Coral Island

Coffers are similar to geodes because they need to be broken open at the Blacksmith's. Carry over your treasure during store hours and pay a small fee per coffer to discover exactly what you've unearthed. Donate whatever you can to the Museum and then sell the rest for profit.
