With Counter-Strike 2's release, I quickly learned I needed to get better at the game. Even after the tutorial, I jumped into the Practice Mode to improve my skills. As a result, and despite my lack of shooter skills, I managed to claim the New Beginning Hidden Achievement. Here's how you can do the same.

How to unlock the Hidden Achievement in Counter-Strike 2 - A New Beginning Achievement

Despite the term Hidden Achievement, the New Beginning achievement in Counter-Strike 2 is incredibly simple to get. Mine triggered at the end of the first round of the tutorial after I planted the bomb, and it detonated. So, all you have to do is play through the tutorial, and the achievement should pop.

Will Counter-Strike 2 get more achievements?

A New Beginning is the only achievement in Counter-Strike 2 at this time. Its official description reads:

• This is Counter-Strike. Too.

It's a clever play on words saying many things. However, it begs the question of whether more achievements will be added to Counter-Strike 2. There is no confirmation of this, as Valve wanted a clean slate and a fresh start for Counter-Strike 2. But I think it is likely Counter-Strike 2 will receive more achievements as time goes on.

CS:GO had a long list of achievements, so it makes sense Counter-Strike 2 will expand its achievement list. We won't know for certain until Valve updates the game or makes an announcement regarding this. For the time being, all you have to do is complete Counter-Strike 2's tutorial, and you will have unlocked all achievements in the game.
