No tier list is perfect, and you might like other units better and place them higher. However, here is our all Counter Side characters PvE tier list based on units' overall flexibility and utility in this mode.
You need to keep in mind that since there are a lot of units, even the ones that are in lower tiers can be very useful, especially if you don't have anything better. Here are some of the best Counter Side PvE characters with the most utility, flexibility, and popularity.
- Nanahara Chifuyu (Striker) - a flexible unit that deals with a lot of AoE DMG, applies a DEF decrease to targets, and even Stuns them for one second. She also buffs ATK and ASPD.
- Yang Harim (Supporter) - a great buffer that increases allies' ATK and Skill Haste, provides a barrier to protect teammates and decreases ATK and Skill Haste for enemies.
- Gaeun (Ranger) - with her deployment cost at three, she is a very popular unit. Gaeun deals AoE damage, decreases enemy ASPD, and Stuns targets for one second.

Best Counter Side PvP Characters
The best Counter Side PvP characters are several Awakened units with great utility, a good Damage output, and unique kits.
- Awakened Yuna Springfield (Striker) - one of the most popular units in both PvE and PvP, she deals AoE damage, removes enemy buffs, Her passive summons Rayleigh, and she recovers her HP while Rayleigh is on the field.
- Awakened Lyudmila (Supporter) - while she doesn't have a big DMG output, she has great Crowd Control over the battle. She binds targets when summoned and increases their Cooldown. Once an enemy dies, she applies a Skill Seal on all enemies.
- Awakened Rosaria (Sniper) - is one of the strongest DMG dealers that prioritizes targets in the air. She has a guaranteed CRIT if her attack hits a single target, is unaffected by Chill or Freeze, and gains stacks of Hellfire, which enhances her ATK.
