DanMachi is an RPG game whose meta keeps changing with every new character. If you get as easily confused as I do, check out our DanMachi Battle Chronicle tier list to find which units can carry you.
All Characters in DanMachi Battle Chronicle Ranked
Remember that the usefulness of your DanMachi Battle Chronicle depends on what element they are and what element the enemy is. Like the Rumble Heroes tier list, DanMachi considers the overall stats and abilities of units. But for characters in DanMachi, elements are essential for their success. Here's a brief rundown of the rock/paper/scissors system:
- Fire defeats Wind.
- Wind defeats Earth.
- Earth defeats Electricity.
- Electricity defeats Water.
- Water defeats Fire.
Tier | Character |
---|---|
S | Ais (Wind), Bell (Fire), Gareth (Earth), Haruhime (Wind), Tione (Electric) |
A | Aisha (Electric), Leafiya (Earth), Cassandra (Water), Riveria (Fire), Tiona (Water UR), Ryu (Wind), Finn (Electric), Liliruica (Water) |
B | Bete (Electric), Mikoto (Fire), Tiona (Water SSR) |
C | Daphne (Wind), Mikoto (Electric), Welf (Fire) |

Best characters in DanMachi Battle Chronicle
Best S Tier characters in DanMachi Battle Chronicle
Ais Wallenstein
Ais Wallenstein is a Wind Attack unit and one of the best units in the DanMachi Battle Chronicle. Her stats mean that she can stay alive longer on her own while producing high levels of damage output.
- Ais has the highest HP and CP out of all Attack units.
- Her technique increases her STR by 30%.
- Special Move increases her CRIT Rate and CRIT Damage for 10 seconds.
Tione Hiryute
Tione Hiryute is another great unit to have on your team. She's an Electric Defense unit with a high damage output. She can keep everyone alive with her shields and leaves the enemies open for attacks from her team.
- Tione has the highest HP and CP out of all Defense units.
- Techniques apply a 1500 shield to herself, bind an enemy for three seconds, and reduce their Endurance for 10 seconds.
- Her Special Move also applies Shield to all team units for 25 seconds.
Best A Tier characters in DanMachi Battle Chronicle
Cassandra Ilion
Cassandra Ilion is a Water Support unit in DanMachi Battle Chronicle with good abilities to boost your team's attacks. She's more of a buffer than a healer support.
- Cassandra's Techniques increase Magic for all units by 30% and reduce Endurance for enemies by 30% for 30 seconds
- Her special move heals and applies a 20% Speed increase to all units for 20 seconds.
Aisha Belka
Aisha Belka is an Electric type Attack-class unit with some pretty neat techniques that boost her already high DMG output
- Aisha's first technique applies a Damage increase of 30% for her Skill.
- Her second technique applies a Damage increase to her Special Front-facing AOE Attack.
Best B Tier character in DanMachi Battle Chronicle
Tiona Hiryute
Tiona SSR Water unit is not as good as her UR version, which is why she is in B Tier. While she does provide good shield protection with her technique and special move, there are better units that you can choose from as your Defense option.
Yamato Mikoto
Yamato Mikoto is a Fire Speed unit that has some pretty average base stats and techniques, but it's her special move that brings advantage to a team. It decreases enemy movement by 99% (essentially stopping them for 10 seconds) and decreases their Endurance for 20 seconds.
Best C Tier character in DanMachi Battle Chronicle
Daphne Lauros
Daphne Lauros is a Wind Defense unit that can apply shields to herself and her teammates using her techniques and special move. While she is top of the C Tier, there are better Defense characters you can pick with the same abilities.
Yamato Mikoto
Another Yamato Mikoto unit, an Electric type, isn't doing great in the DanMachi Battle Chronicle meta. Her technique increases strength to all units by 15% for eight seconds, while the special move reduces the enemy's Endurance by 15% for 10 seconds. This is a good ability setup, but her low overall stats in the Support class put her in C Tier.
