BHVR gifts fans new game for Dead by Daylight 8th anniversary (grab it while you can)

Loving the Jumanji aspect of it!

Behaviour Interactive (BHVR) loves gifting fans, whether it be new Player Cards, free Bloodpoint codes, or even entire games. For the 8th anniversary of Dead by Daylight, you'll get to enjoy playing a fun new game called What the Fog.

WTF is a two-person coop roguelite game where Dwight, Claudette, and Feng Min get sucked into a cursed board game and they have to escape. There is a single-player mode as well, but it's definitely more fun with a friend.

The best part of the game is the first 2 million copies are free! In order to get the game, you'll have to sign up for a Behaviour account and then follow the steps on the website to download the game for free. If you miss this free offer, the game is also available on Steam for $4.99.

You'll first choose a difficulty and a character you want to play as, which all have different attacks and abilities. Once you do, you'll get thrown into the first room, where you have to activate five generators by collecting enough Bloodpoints. You get them by shooting and killing the monsters on the map.

Once you activate all five generators, the exit door will be powered (in a similar fashion to the original Dead by Daylight), and you can make your way to the next room. However, I suggest killing a lot of enemies in the first few rooms, as the Bloodpoints carry over; this will just make your life easier.

As you make your way through more rooms, the enemies become stronger, but so do you through various skills and upgrades you can get. There's also a special boss room that you have to defeat in order to progress further.

While it's a pretty simple game, I've had lots of fun trying to clear all levels. It's also fun to fight back instead of just running from Killers and repairing generators. While not in the plans, hopefully the game will become popular enough so that we can see more DBD characters added.
