What is the fastest way to get pips in Dead by Daylight?

Fastest way to get pips.

Earning pips fast in Dead by Daylight consists of just doing well enough not to lose pips in two categories while doing exceptionally well in the other two. Focus on what you're good at and let the rest go. The following are the different ways to earn pips for killers and survivors, pick two, focus on them, and then just do okay on the rest.

The fastest way to get survivor pips

Lightbringer - Earned by repairing generators and cleaning hex and dull totems. It's the easiest one since fixing just three of the five generators will give you a high number.

Unbroken - As a survivor, the hardest of the bunch. You can't have been downed once to get the most pips, but if you have been, the highest you can get is a silver emblem. Being downed and surviving is really just a matter of luck, so just keep doing what you normally do.

Benevolent - If the killer doesn't babysit the hook, this one is easy. Focus on unhooking victims and healing allies. There is also a bonus for unhooking someone when the exit is open. Unhook three people per game or heal at least three people for a few pips per game.

Evader - It's simpler than Unbroken. Getting close to a killer earns pips on this emblem. If the killer does babysit the hook, this one is a piece of cake. Make sure you're close enough for the killer to see you, but since they're babysitting, they won't leave their catch. This will give you easy pips. The safest way to remember is to use this if you cannot get benevolent.

Gatekeeper - Pips are given based on how long the generators remain unfixed. You can earn this passively if you damage a generator after chasing away a survivor. Chasing them and forgetting they have been bringing a generator back is the worst thing you can do.

Devout - You can earn pips here by sacrificing survivors to the entity. It is important to remember that no survivor should bleed out, as this will lower your score. Sacrifice everyone. Babysitting hooks seem to earn you this one the fastest, but you risk only getting two survivors per match.

Malicious - Getting this one is the hardest since you shouldn't be actively trying to be a nuisance and more interested in killing people. Killers earn these by stopping survivors from healing each other. This one is a bit of a luck game, so we don't recommend actively getting this one.

Chaser - Your ability to hunt down survivors. The best way to do this is to know which survivor is worth chasing first. If you find they're slippery, move on. Spending too much time on any survivor is the way you go through a game too quickly and get no pips.
