Early in the Dead Rising series, the games adopted a crafting system that made running around bashing zombies with an electric guitar even more fun! Fuse two items together to make a mega weapon that will literally blow the Undead's socks off… and feet… and legs!
To craft a combo weapon or vehicle you will need two items that are compatible with each other. Willamette has several blueprints hidden around its town and mall that you can find, which will allow you to unlock more combos.
In the case of weapons
With weapons, you will need to pick up one of the two items that you are going to craft together and have it in your Weapons Inventory. Once you have done that, stand next to the other item you will be using, and a prompt to craft will come up. This will be B on the Xbox and E on the PC.
A crafting scene will happen where Frank tapes the two objects together, and after that, you will have a nice new toy to play with!

In the case of vehicles
With vehicles, you will need to get the two wheel-orientated items you want to use and close them together so that the combo prompt comes up. For instance, you can fuse a Shopping Cart with a Go-Kart, so you would need to make sure that the two cart/karts are side by side.
Once you have done that, the same prompt will appear where you press either B (Xbox) or E (PC) to craft the combo vehicle.
The main thing is to keep collecting the blueprints so that the invitation to make combos comes up more often. The weapons and vehicles you can create are truly chaotic and fun, so we recommend experimenting with them!
