Origin Traits are the innate buffs that a weapon has. These traits can be divided into two traits, an Activity Trait, and a Manufacturer Trait. In case a weapon has both of these traits, only one trait will be active at any given point of time.
Here is a list of all the Activity and Manufacturer Traits in Destiny 2.

Activity Trait
These traits are determined by the activity from which the weapon is obtained.
| Activity | Trait | Effect |
| Strikes | Vanguard's Vindication | Final blows from this weapon grant a small amount of health. (7HP) |
| Nightfalls | Stunning Recovery | Stunning a Champion partially refills the magazine, triggers health regeneration, and enhances recovery for a short duration. (+60 HP instantly, +40 HP recovery over 3 seconds) |
| Gambit | Invader Tracker | Damaging the Invader with this weapon marks them for allies. |
| Crucible | One Quiet Moment | Grants increased reload speed when out of combat. |
| Trials of Osiris | Alacrity | Gain increased reload, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last living member of your fireteam/running solo. (+20 reload, +20 stability, +10 aim assist, +10 range) |
| Iron Banner | Skulking Wolf | During the Hunt, final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and hide you from the opposing radar. |
| Throne World | Psychohack | Sustained damage from this weapon lowers the target's damage output for a short duration. |
Manufacturer Traits
These traits depend upon the weapon manufacturer.

| Suros | Suros Synergy | Reloading grants this weapon additional handling and reduces flinch from incoming damage for a short duration. |
| Hakke | Hakke Breach Armaments | Weapons with this perk deal increased damage against vehicles, turrets, barricades, and Stasis crystals. |
| Omolon | Omolon Field Dynamics | This weapon has increased reload speed and stability for the top half of the magazine. |
| Viest | Viest Stinger | Damaging an enemy with this weapon has a small chance to reload the magazine and increase movement speed while aiming down sights. Bows obtain faster draw speed and swords charge at a faster rate while this perk is active. |
| PsiOps/Cabal | Land Tank | Final blows with this weapon grant increased resilience and additional damage resistance from combatants. |
These are all the Origin Traits that are available in Destiny 2 The Witch Queen for now. We'll update this list once more traits are added.
