All new Destiny 2 Exotics in The Witch Queen & how to get them

Some powerful new additions!

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is finally here and with it some brand new exotic weapons and armor to acquire. Some of this exotic gear can be found throughout the world, and some of them are earned through quests. Players can even craft exotic weapons for the first time ever using the weapon crafting relic. Here are all of the new exotic weapons and armor in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen and how to get them.

All Witch Queen Exotics

The Witch Queen brought tons of new features and content to the game. A new destination, weapon crafting, and the reworked Void subclass, all help to keep the game feeling fresh and new. One thing about the game that hasn't changed much, though, is exotic gear. More and more of it is added into the game every year, though the want for more still remains strong. Luckily, players are given the opportunity to earn even more exotics with The Witch Queen.

The Witch Queen Exotic Weapons

  • Grand Overture - This is an Exotic Machine Gun that fires charged slugs at enemies. This weapon is the Seasonal Exotic and is unlocked by simply purchasing the Season Pass for Season of the Risen.
  • Parasite - An Exotic Grenade Launcher that fires hive worms at enemies doing increased damage depending on how many enemies you slayed before firing the worm. This launcher is earned by completing the Of Queens and Worms quest that you get from Mara Sov after The Witch Queen campaign.
  • Osteo Striga - A Deluxe Edition exclusive Exotic SMG, that fires swarming projectiles that create a toxic burst. This weapon is only obtainable by crafting it at the Relic on Mars. Players who did not purchase the Deluxe Edition of The Witch Queen will have to wait and see if this weapon becomes avaiable for all players in the future.
  • Dead Messenger - This is weapon is a one-shot Exotic Grenade Launcher, that sends out three waves of elemental damage on impact. The elemental damage type can also be rotated on the fly. This weapon can be earned by completing the Vox Obscura Exotic quest after finishing the Kill the Messenger quest. This weapon can only be obtained by players who have purchased the Season Pass.
  • Class-Specific Exotic Glaives - There are three new Exotic Glaives, one for each class. The Hunter Glaive is called Edge of Concurrence, the Warlock Glaive is called Edge of Intent, and the Titan Glaive is called Edge of Action. These Glaives look very similar, but vary slightly in their exotic trait. These Glaives become craftable at the Relic on Mars after completing all of the Evidence Board reports.

The Witch Queen Exotic Armor

All of these armor pieces have the same method of obtaining them. They each have a 50% chance of dropping for players after completing The Witch Queen campaign on Legendary. This means since there are two pieces of armor for each class, players will get one or the other. After that, these can be earned by completing Legendary or Master Lost Sectors.

  • Loreley Splendor Helm (Titan) - This Exotic Titan Helmet allows for players to be healed through Sunspots, and will create one when you’re close to death to give you faster cooldowns.
  • Hoarfrost-Z chest (Titan) - This Exotic Titan Chest replaces theTitan barricade with a large wall of Stasis.
  • Secant Filaments (Warlock) - These Exotic Warlock Legs grant the player Devour upon casting an empowering rift. Damage dealt by the player and their allies from within the empowering rift will disrupt combatants.
  • Osmiomancy Gloves (Warlock) - These Exotic Warlock Gauntlets offer an additional Coldsnap grenade with enhanced seeking over longer distances.
  • Renewal Grasps (Hunter) - These Exotic Hunter Gauntlets grant a bonus to Duskfield Grenades, which now create a much wider area and also lower the outgoing damage of enemies trapped inside.
  • Blight Ranger Helmet (Hunter) - This Exotic Hunter Helmet enables Arc Staff to send projectiles back at enemies, with the reflected projectiles dealing increased damage.

So there you have it, those are all of the new Exotics in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. While some of these weapons and armor appear stronger than others, they are still well worth your time to track down as Exotics are always useful.
