Best Gear for Destiny 2 Spire of the Watcher Dungeon

See you, Space Cowboy.

Destiny 2 is pulling out all the stops with Season of the Seraph. A continuation of Rasputin's story, three new Exotic weapons, an Exotic weapon quest, and a dungeon that smashes together Warmind aesthetic with weapon manufacturer Tex Mechanica. While the mechanics of Spire of the Watcher might not be difficult, the unending onslaught of foes will prove quite the challenge. Here's what to bring to ease that burden.

Weapons

As mentioned above, Spire of the Watcher is going to dump waves upon waves of enemies on Guardians. As such, having weapons that can clear them quickly is paramount. Additionally, having weapons to pop shields on pesky Minotaurs is crucial. We're fans of Witherhoard and the IKELOS_HC_v1.0.3 for clearing trash. Swords and machine guns are also fairly effective in the heavy slot, as there are only two boss fights to be concerned with.

As for the boss fights, we recommend linear fusion rifles like Taipain-4fr for the first fight. For the second fight, Gjallarhorn, with an accompaniment of rocket launchers, works beautifully.

Armor

Armor, specifically exotics, will be largely based on the subclasses being run. We recommend Titans go Arc and rock Thundercrash and Cuirass of the Falling Star. Hunters are best utilized with Moebius Quiver and Graviton Forfeit for enhanced invisibility to pull off clutch revives. Warlocks have a little more flexibility but best utilize Well of Radiance. As for an exotic, we're fans of the Karnstein Armlets for health regen.
