Best Titan Void Builds in Destiny 2 Lightfall

Be the wall upon which our foes break.

The Titan has long been the bastion of defense for fireteams in Destiny 2. From their barriers to their bubbles, it's all about supporting allies and generally being unkillable. However, with Void 3.0, Titans can be super aggressive and still be rewarded for it. This trend continues into Lightfall where even with the inclusion of a new subclass, Void reigns supreme.

Lightfall Void Titan Build

This build is all about buffing your abilities and weapon damage. As such, mods are going to be a big part of it. However, to take advantage of the weapon damage, you'll need to be using Void weapons. We recommend Le Monarque and Retrofit Escapade. Precious Scars will keep the heals going and Bastion will restore shields in a pinch.

Void Abilities

  • Sentinel Shield: Summon a shield of Void Light. Guard with Sentinel Shield to create a defensive wall. Allies who shoot through the wall have increased weapon damage, and guarding allies makes the shield last longer.
  • Towering Barricade: Create a large barrier that can be used to reinforce a position with cover from enemy fire.
  • Shield Bash: After sprinting for a short time, use this melee ability to unleash a devastating Shield Bash that suppresses the target. Final blows with Shield Bash grant an Overshield.
  • Void Wall Grenade: A grenade that creates a horizontal wall of burning Void Light.

Void Aspects

  • Controlled Demolition: Hitting a target with a Void ability or Volatile explosion makes them volatile. Further damage to a volatile target causes them to explode. Grants you and your nearby allies health when volatile targets explode near you.
  • Bastion: Cast your Super to grant Overshield to nearby allies. Casting your Barricade grants Overshield to yourself and nearby allies and empowers it, enabling it to slowly regenerate the Overshield of allies bunkering behind it and extend their Overshield duration.

Void Fragments

  • Echo of Expulsion: Void ability final blows cause targets to explode (+10 Intellect).
  • Echo of Cessation: Finisher final blows create a burst of Void damage that causes nearby combatants to become volatile. Defeating volatile targets creates a Void Breach.
  • Echo of Leeching: Melee final blows start health regeneration for you and nearby allies (+10 Resilience)

Weapons

  • Ragnhild-D
    • Aggressive Frame, Subsistence, Thresh, Hakke Breach Armaments, Major Spec
  • Le Monarque
    • Fires poison arrows on full draw and quick release. Strong against Overload Champions
  • Retrofit Escapade
    • Rapid-Fire Frame, Zen Moment, Frenzy, Ambush, Boss Spec

Armor & Mods

For the most part, stat distribution is up to you, but only after reaching 100 Resilience. We specced into Strength as we're fans of using the Shield Bash and subsequent explosions for clearing mobs.

  • Precious Scars: Final blows from weapons with a damage type matching your subclass energy create a burst of healing around you. After reviving or being revived, you can an aura that provides overshields to you and nearby allies.
    • Void Siphon, Void Targeting, Font of Wisdom
  • Arms
    • Void Loader x2, Font of Focus
  • Chest
    • Charged Up x2
  • Legs
    • Void Weapon Surge x2, Stacks on Stacks
  • Class Item
    • Utility Kickstart x2, Outreach
