It's the most wonderful time of the year. Festival of the Lost has returned to Destiny 2. With it comes an all-new Event Card that must be completed if Guardians want to earn the unique holiday title Ghost Writer. Two of these challenges require Guardians to amass a treasure trove of candy worth at least 30,000 pieces. This is no small feat as activities like Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit only award 250-350 per completion. With a ticking clock underway, what are the best ways to farm candy?

Destiny 2 2022 Festival of the Lost candy farming

There are three sure-fire ways to quickly and efficiently candy in Festival of the Lost 2022. But before we get into that, we want to remind you to have your Festival of the Lost mask equipped! Without it, you won't be seeing any of that sweet loot. The first way to target farm some candy and the least accessible is to take down the Grandmaster Nightfalls. These will award 700 candy as a base with more given for clearing enemies along the way.

If you're not powerful enough for that or don't have a core group willing to farm, there are two more solo-friendly locations. The second candy farm takes Guardians to the all too familiar Shuro-Chi fight in the Last Wish Raid. If you've ever used this spot to work on weapon catalysts, you know the drill. Head over to the Wish Wall and teleport to the encounter. Start the fight and get to work mowing down that Thrall army. Wipe and start all over again for several hundred candy for five minutes of work.

The final method that has been making the rounds is to use the entrance of the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. Much like Shuro-Chi, tons of Thrall will spawn and be ripe for the plucking. The last two recommendations also work well if you still need to knock out challenges like killing X number of enemies using Arc damage and the like. So go put on an audiobook, podcast, or playlist and get to farming!
