In the Japanese version of This Week at Bungie August 21, 2022, where there was supposed to be a redacted text line, the name Trespasser was instead. Because of this, speculation surrounding the Trespasser Sidearm soon spread, leading many to believe that Trespasser soon return.

While nothing at the moment nothing was confirmed regarding Trespasser returning by Bungie, there's a huge possibility that the gun will return. In short, the source is from Bungie directly, and it remains unlikely it was a simple coincidence that Trespasser was the name in place of redacted. But with all things unconfirmed, take with a grain of salt.
