How to unlock Strand in Destiny 2

To unlock the Stand subclass in Destiny 2, you must complete the entirety of Lightfall's campaign. After finishing the last campaign mission, speak to Zavala and Ikora in the Tower. Afterward, head to the Hall of Heroes on Nemoura to acquire the Stand subclass.

There are eight missions to complete in the Lightfall campaign, so once you have finished Desperate Measures, you know you can finally unlock the Strand subclass. This is a very anticipated unlock, especially after getting a taste of the subclass during the opening prologue mission, which allows you to play around and experiment with Strand abilities for your class until you become exhausted due to story reasons.

How long is the Lightfall campaign in Destiny 2?

The Lightfall campaign in Destiny 2 will range between five to nine hours, depending on multiple factors. If you are gunning through the campaign as fast as possible, you can quickly complete it in a day/night, but if you are playing on Legendary, expect it to take considerably longer.

Of course, exploring Neomuna may pique your interest, along with the side missions between chapters, so playtime can easily vary. However, your Power Level must be high enough to continue the campaign. If not, you'll have to level up your gear until you can proceed.
