How to claim Gift of the Thunder Gods in Destiny 2

Whoever be so worthy shall inherit the power of Thor.

Bungie has smiled upon its players once more. With the release of Season 18 in Destiny 2 and the Arc 3.0 rework being a huge part, the developer has gifted Guardians with a literal treasure chest of goodies. Here's where to find the Gift of the Thunder Gods.

Where to find Gift of the Thunder Gods in Destiny 2

You can find the Gift of the Thunder Gods on the H.E.L.M. It is immediately in front and to the left of the Guardian when they spawn in. It contains the following:

  • Thunderlord Exotic machine gun.
  • A class-specific Exotic armor piece.
  • An array of 1570 power weapons for all three slots.
  • Five pieces of 1570 Dreaming City armor can either be equipped or infused. Double-check the stat rolls before deciding to infuse it!

All in all, it's not a bad collection of loot. It's enough to get everyone to the current Light Level, so it's perfect for Guardians playing catch-up. Plus, the stat rolls on the armor aren't too bad and might even be an upgrade for many.

Note that the Gift of the Thunder Gods can only be redeemed once per character and for a limited time, so make sure to log in and grab it on each of your characters. Also, use this as a bargaining chip to get some friends into Destiny. It always helps when they're not hit in the face with a grind right out of the gate.
