How to complete Sparking Rage in Destiny 2

Are you guys sensing a theme here? This begins week three in Destiny 2 where a particular loadout is going to be required to complete a Sever mission. Could it be that we might see Stasis next week? Who knows? What we do know is that they're fun because they challenge Guardians to tackle missions in a different way.

Best Loadout for Sparking Rage

Guardians are free to mix and match anything in the following lists. These focus heavily on Arc weapons and keep Kinetics as an afterthought. Simply find a core weapon that agrees with you and build around that.

Note: Much like last week, using the scythe will automatically fail this challenge as it is a Solar weapon. DO NOT use the scythe.

Kinetic Slot

• Firefright - Legendary Auto Rifle
• Tears of Contrition - Legendary Scout Rifle
• Heritage - Legendary Shotgun

Energy Slot

• Posterity - Legendary Hand Cannon (Arc)
• Trespasser - (Exotic)(Arc)
• Nezarec's Whisper - Legendary Glaive (Arc)
• Adored - Legendary Sniper Rifle (Arc)
• Arsenic Bit-4b - Legendary Bow (Arc)
• Coldheart - (Exotic)(Arc)
• Riskrunner - (Exotic)(Arc)
• Trinity Ghoul - (Exotic)(Arc)

Power Slot

• Thunderlord - (Exotic)(Arc)
• Seventh Seraph - Legendary Machine Gun (Arc)
• Grand Overture - (Exotic)(Arc)
• The Wardcliff Coil - (Exotic)(Arc)

Subclass

It should go without saying, but Guardians will need to run an Arc subclass here. It doesn't matter which, but we are fond of the "Superman" Titan.

Sever - Rage Walkthrough

• After landing, proceed forward through the corridors, taking out each pocket of Cabal reinforcements you come across
• Drop down the hall and rendezvous with the friendly Cabal reinforcements
• Take out the combined Cabal and Scorn forces to proceed
• Set the first Ritual Amplifier
• Proceed through the doorway and jump over the electrified pit
• Head to the next room, turn around, and look above the doorway
• Shoot the two blue lights quickly, then head down into the now open pit
• Rather than head forward with your Cabal allies, head to the right and jump up into the doorway
• When the trap is sprung in the next room, look immediately to the right and shoot the blue light to open the door
• Pull the lever just inside the hall to unseal the immolation hallway
• Turn around and shoot the blue light once more to exit the room
• Back in the main room, ensure the unkillable Cabal is focused on you and head to the opposite side of the room you were just in
• Follow the hallway around and jump up to the platform
• Pull the switch to ignite the immolation hall and kill the unkillable
• Release the containment lockdown and rendezvous with your Cabal friends
• Plant the Rally Banner and show Ghaul who's boss!
