A common problem faced by many Destiny 2 PC players jumping inside The Final Shape DLC is the unavailability of the game audio. So, if you are facing a similar issue and want to fix your audio in Destiny 2, here is a complete guide on it.
Why is my audio not working in Destiny 2 The Final Shape?
Bungie has confirmed from their end that there is an ongoing issue related to 3D audio for PC players, and they are working on the problem to fix the issue from their end. Meanwhile, they have suggested all PC players who are not able to listen to any audio turn off their Spatial Sound Settings from the Windows settings. If you don't know how to do this, simply follow the given steps.
- Click on Windows, and choose the Settings (System) option.
- Inside the Settings Window, go to the Sound section.
- Now, you will find the Sound Control Panel on the extreme right of the screen.
- In the list of Playback Devices, pick the device that plays audio on your computer. For me, it was my speakers and headphone jack.
- Select the device and press the Properties button on the window.
- In the Properties window, go to the Spatial Sound section and turn it off.
Now, you will be able to hear audio in Destiny 2 and continue playing the new DLC without any worry. Once Bungie fixes an update, you can revert to your original settings of using 3D Audio.
