‘Destiny 2 Servers are not available’ – How To Fix

To fix the Servers are not available error in Destiny 2, you will need to check the status of the game's servers. To check if there are any server issues or if there is a server outage, visit downdetector.com.

Downdetector allows you to determine if there are server issues. The Downdetector site will display if the servers are down for Destiny 2, and user comments at the bottom of the page may add more context.

We also recommend checking BungieHelp on Twitter and seeing if the official account has confirmed any errors for the game.

If you haven't seen any errors confirmed, you are probably experiencing client-side network issues. After confirming you are experiencing client-side issues, you can fix the error with the following:

  • Disable DHCP
  • Restart Router
  • Reset TCP/IP address
  • Enable UPnP 
  • Run Steam as Administrator 
  • Restart System (PC/Console)
