How to get Collective Obligation in Destiny 2

A powerful Pulse Rifle!

As with any major expansion, players get most excited for is the Raid that releases shortly after. The Witch Queen's Raid—known as Vow of the Disciple—brought with it even more weapons and gear for players to hunt down. One of these new weapons is called Collective Obligation, and here is how you can get it.

How to get the Collective Obligation Exotic Pulse Rifle

Collective Obligation is an Exotic Pulse rifle introduced in the Vow of the Disciple Raid. This weapon is a random drop after defeating the final boss, Rhulk. There is no guaranteed way for players to get this weapon. It is earned by pure luck, similar to the Vex Mythoclast. There isn't an official drop rate at this time, but it might sit around 5%, so you can expect to farm it for some time.

The Collective Obligation is a great weapon that pairs well with Void 3.0. Its Intrinsic Trait allows it to leech Void debuffs off of enemies, and once it is charged, players can change the firing mode to one that applies the debuffs it leeched. While it's unfortunate that it removes the debuff from enemies, it is useful when trying to coordinate a single target to have the debuffs. It also has a useful perk, Umbral Sustenance, that refills your magazine every time you gain Devour, a Void Overshield, or become invisible.

While getting the weapon as a reward all comes down to RNG, prepare to farm this one for a while in order to snag it.
