Diablo 4 Cow Level – Does it have one?

Somehow, someway, the Cow Level has become a staple of the Diablo franchise. If you're wondering if Diablo 4 has the Cow Level, we have you covered.

Is the Cow Level in Diablo 4?

At this time, it doesn't look like a Cow Level is in Diablo 4. That can change over time since Blizzard will be supporting Diablo 4 for a long time. Back in April 2023, Blizzard said in an interview there wouldn't be a Cow Level at launch in an effort to have a grounded world.

In Diablo 2 players needed a bunch of different items to open up the portal, and that could be how it works here and nobody has figured out how to do it yet. More realistically, however, is the Cow Level doesn't exist as of yet.

What makes the Cow Level special in Diablo?

Players get hyped up for the Cow Level because not only do they get to mow down a bunch of cows, but they also get some good loot out of it. In Diablo 2, the Cow Level was a viable leveling method that also gave players many upgrades.

In the case of Diablo 3, the Cow Level was more of a fun easter egg that players stumbled across, but it was still a good way of leveling up and getting gear upgrades. There's no telling how it'll work in Diablo 4 when or if it ever gets added. As of right now, the best thing we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope Blizzard adds some bovine enemies to the game.
